Today, we are excited to share Marrickville Legal Centre’s 2026-29 Strategic Plan.
Established in 1979, MLC has spent more than four decades providing free and accessible services to people too often overlooked by our legal systems – and our commitment to that mission has never been stronger.
Over the life of this Strategic Plan 2026-2029 and our broader ten-year vision, MLC will invest in modernising the way we work. We will harness technology and innovation to reach more people and ensure that no one in our community is turned away simply because demand exceeds our capacity.
By 2036, MLC will be a digitally enabled, financially resilient community legal centre – a workforce of choice, a trusted sector partner, and the accessible gateway to justice for every person who needs us, through every channel available.
The work we do will always be guided by what our community needs, and we are committed to investing in the tools, capabilities, and systems to meet that need at scale.
