Did you know that one in four women in Australia has experienced violence from a current or former partner? 

Every day, people experiencing domestic and family violence turn to Marrickville Legal Centre for support. 

Our Domestic Violence Legal Service provides integrated legal assistance and practical support for survivors during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. 

Sadly, the need for this support is growing. 

Over the past year, demand for the Domestic Violence Legal Service has increased by 13%, reflecting a rising need across our communities. As more people seek help, the gap between demand and resources continues to widen. 

That’s why we’re asking for your support today:

• A gift of $30 can help cover the cost of obtaining NSW hospital records to support evidence of domestic abuse in court.
• A gift of $195 can provide a survivor with an hour of dedicated duty work at the moment they need it most.
