Marrickville Legal Centre has established a new community outreach with Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and Mission Australia. At today’s inaugural outreach, local residents joined community services for morning tea at Matt Hogan Reserve on Alice Street in Newtown. Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, Jenny Leong MP‘s office as well as tenants’ advocates and solicitors from Marrickville Legal Centre attended today to chat with the community.
The regular outreach for residents of social housing will take place at 1-17 Alice Street Newtown on the first Tuesday of each month ongoingly.
